Why doesn't Sparta perform a depth jump (RSI) assessment?

The Sparta System does not have the option to perform depth jump assessments simply because this test is extremely difficult to standardize to be reliable enough across multiple organizations and populations. The depth jump itself is a challenging test/exercise as it has two goals: to jump as high as possible while spending the least amount of time on the ground. Basic physics tells us that in order to jump higher we need to spend MORE time on the ground to apply force for longer, this is a measure known as Impulse. These conflicting goals lead to a more unreliable, invalid, and not to mention frustrating test.
