Learn how to disinfect the force plate without causing any discoloration.
Because of the anodization (our coloration process) done on the Force Plate, there are a few chemicals to avoid when cleaning or disinfecting to be sure no discoloration occurs. Discoloration can be permanent but will not affect the accuracy of the Force Plate.
- Clean the Force Plate with either an alcohol-based solution or soap and water to disinfect.
Any cleaners containing bleach and/or hydrogen peroxide should be avoided as these oxidation agents can stain and/or leave some discolored chemical residue.
