How should I clean or disinfect the Force Plate?

Learn how to disinfect the force plate without causing any discoloration.

Because of the anodization (our coloration process) done on the Force Plate, there are a few chemicals to avoid when cleaning or disinfecting to be sure no discoloration occurs.  Discoloration can be permanent but will not affect the accuracy of the Force Plate.

  • Clean the Force Plate with either an alcohol-based solution or soap and water to disinfect.

Any cleaners containing bleach and/or hydrogen peroxide should be avoided as these oxidation agents can stain and/or leave some discolored chemical residue.
